What to expect after the interview

If you're here, your interviewer has likely offered you a position with our organization and discussed which shifts  would be a good fit for you. Here's what's next:

You will receive an offer letter from "CREATIVE OPTIONS via DocuSign"if you do not see the offer letter, please check your SPAM folder or use the search function to find the email. This will be sent to the email address you used during the application process.

When you open the email, select "Review Document," Click "start" at the top of the page, be sure to read and initial as well as sign the electronic document. Click "Finish" once you're done and the document will be returned to us.

Once your Offer letter has been received and reviewed, you will receive an email to begin completing your new hire paperwork. This email will come from our payroll company. The address should appear as Paycor NoReply@notifications.paycor.com. The subject line should read: Creative Options LLC has invited you  to start onboarding!

You will click on the access code to begin setting your account up for timekeeping and payroll. Please be sure you have a few minutes to complete the process before you begin.

***WARNING*** If you have had a Paycor account with another company, please select a different user name. Additionally, if there is difficulty, you may need to use a different email address. Anyone having difficulty that requires that account be reset more than once will be asked to come to the office to complete their Paycor onboarding.

You will receive a call or text from the Administrative Specialist to schedule a time to get fingerprinted during office hours. Please note that our office hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm At this time they will remind you to bring the following documents with you:

      * Driver's License

      * Social Security Card

      * Birth Certificate or Passport (if you do not have your social security card)

      * High School Diploma or GED

      * Copy of Auto Insurance

      * Any certifications you may already have (CPR, MUI, Medication Administration, 8 hour initial training)

If you do not have the required trainings, you will receive a call or text from the Training Coordinator to schedule these  trainings. CPR/FA certification and MUI Training will need to be completed BEFORE your first day of on-site training.

If you do not complete these trainings within 2 weeks of hire, the position may be given to another candidate.

After initial contact, the Training Coordinator will follow up with an email containing any necessary training information.

If the site you were hired to work requires Medication Administration certification, and you do not currently have a valid certification, you will be required to attend a 2-day certification class at one of 2 locations (Dublin or North Columbus) within 3 weeks of hire. Some homes may require additional Medication Administration for the administration of insulin or use of G/J-Tube.

Time spent for in-classroom or in-office training is paid. Any trainings completed online at home are not paid.

Training will be scheduled on site after the initial orientation trainings have been completed. You will be contacted by the Program Specialist for each site to set up training in the home(s) you were hired for.

1. Consistent and honest communication with training and administrative staff through the on-boarding process to ensure your transition into the job is smooth and successful.

2. Follow through with online and in-person classes, or communication (in advance) in the rare case that an emergency would prevent you from completing an assigned training or task on time.

3.Timely completion of new hire paperwork and training.

4. Willingness to learn and grow. Ask questions when you don't understand and let us know when you have a concern.
